Both the Falcons and the Patriots have had impressive victories over solid teams in the regular and post-seasons. With that in mind, let’s take a quick look at the Falcons roster.
While the Falcons are a well rounded team, offense is where they shine. Quarterback Matt Ryan led the team to a decisive victory over the Green Bay Packers last weekend. Ryan has had a phenomenal season and shows no signs of slowing down.
But a quarterback without a solid team around him wouldn’t make it to the Superbowl. Most notably Julio Jones, who has continued to be one of the strongest wide receivers in the sport. However, he is backed up this year by many other strong receivers, including Gabriel, Sanu, Hardy and Robinson, all of whom have contributed to victories this year. The Falcons short game is also strong, with young running backs Freeman and Coleman both proving to be threats.
